Course Description

Overview: Students enrolling in this course will build upon skills learned in Word 2002: Level 1, learning intermediate Word 2002 skills including how to create templates, manage table data, create a newsletter, send form letters, create a Web page, and manage document changes. It is also intended for persons desiring to prepare to be certified Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) in Word.

 

Prerequisites: To ensure your success, you must have first completed the Software Training course, Word 2002: Level 1 and have a strong working knowledge of the Windows environment. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media. The Software Training courses Windows 98: Introduction, Windows ME: Introduction, Windows 2000: Introduction and Windows XP: Introduction teach these skills. Students enrolling in this course should know how to use Word 2002 to create, edit, format, and print standard business documents complete with tables and graphics.

 

Delivery Method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
