Excel 97: Charting and Organizing Data

Course description

Overview: Students will build upon the skills learned in Excel 97: Worksheets to learn the methods and concepts necessary to create charts and to use the list-management capabilities of Excel 97. This course meets the Microsoft Proficiency Guidelines for Excel at the Expert level.

 

Prerequisites: To ensure your continued success, students must first take the Software Training course, Excel 97: Worksheets, and have a good working knowledge of the Windows 98 environment.

 

Delivery method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

 

Benefits: Students will learn how to represent data graphically and maintain and manage lists.

 

Target student: Students enrolling in this course should understand data types (text, numbers, and formulas) and the use of the menu system for copying data and for opening and saving files.
